Healthy Lives Need Healthy Eyes!

Covid-19

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe environment for our patients, families, and staff, Tomlin Eye Care (a healthcare provider) continues with health and safety policies in response to the ongoing situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

We are seeing established and new patients by appointment only, including glasses and contact lens pickups. We are disinfecting equipment and high touch areas after each patient. MASK ARE STILL REQUIRED FOR ENTRY INTO OUR FACILITY.

If you or a family member is sick, having symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath), we will be happy to reschedule your appointment once you have fully recovered.

Walk-in appointments will only be seen if there is availability. We are limiting the number of individuals within our space in observance of social distancing practices.

We understand how important the support of loved ones and friends is to patients, particularly during sensitive situations. For this reason, visitor exceptions will be made based on the criteria outlined below:

  • Pediatric patients may have one (1) parent/legal guardian at their
    visit
  • Dependent patients with limited decisional or physical capacity may
have one (1) person at their visit.
  • OTHERWISE, we ask that additional people accompanying you to your
    appointment remain in your car.

If you or a family member have tested positive for the virus or you think you may have been exposed to the virus by someone else within the past 2 weeks AND you have symptoms, you should call your primary care doctor or a telephone advice nurse. If you have severe respiratory distress, you should call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment until you are well.

Thank you for understanding and following these policies in order to do all we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office 562-437-1276 for the latest updates.
